For folks attending this year’s convention in person, there are rooms set aside in the con hotel, the Future Inn Cardiff Bay. These are available at a special convention rate on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast is included in the rate.
To book one of these rooms, contact the hotel's reservations team. You can do this by calling 029 20487 111 and following the menu options to be put through to room reservations, or by emailing the team at reservations.cardiff@futureinns.co.uk. You will need to mention that you are attending VidUKon and would like to book one of the rooms in our block, citing the block code 518990. Payment will be taken on the con weekend.
These rooms will be held for us until Monday 10 April, so make sure you book before then!
Rates are as follows:
Friday - £89 single or £102 twin/double
Saturday - £137 single or £151 twin/double
Sunday - £79 single or £93 twin/double
Every room is wheelchair accessible and can sleep up to four people over two double beds. If you’d like to book a room for more than two people, check prices with the hotel as there is an additional charge per person.
Please note that Coldplay will be playing in Cardiff a couple of days before the con, so hotel rooms outside the con block may be scarce and/or expensive, especially if you plan to arrive before the con begins.
